It has been a painstaking few years for Wharfedale Green to find a quality board that not only looks good, has a good fixing system and also has a sustainable manufacture and recycling process.
Finding a good product that doesn’t get manufactured thousands of miles away (as most does) was no easy task but we now have an amazing range, most of which is produced and recycled in Yorkshire!
All of our range is made using a mixture of reclaimed wood fibres, recylcled HDPE and environmentally sustainable resins / bonding agents and colours. This produces quality materials that replicate the look and feel of timber without any of the issues; Such as rotting, warping, ongoing maintenance or drastic colour fading.
Recycled HDPE plastics actively reduces landfill and ocean plastics and in so reduces the carbon footprint further. Single use plastics such as bottles literally become a beautiful and practical addition to your garden for years to come!
